In October, 2008, we were notified that Dan’s photo was selected as a Highly Commended winner in the largest and most prestigious wildlife photography contest in the world. Over 32,000 photographs were submitted by over 3,000 photographers from over 82 countries.
A touring exhibit will be travelling throughout Britain, as well as Australia, Brazil, Canada, the Netherlands. Poland, South Africa, Spain and the USA.
The exhibit has also been published as a book and is available from the museum:

Sand Sprinters has been published in BBC Wildlife Magazine, GEO (Germany) and Focus (Italy).
